At Payt, we believe we share a responsibility for the impact we have on the environment. The consequences of environmental harm are increasingly evident — we see them in the news almost daily. In a time when climate awareness is more important than ever, we now offer you the opportunity to offset the CO₂ emissions generated through your use of our software. Curious to know how you can contribute to a greener future? Read on!

How does it work in Payt?

We’ve calculated the CO₂ emissions associated with using our software based on monthly averages of three key parameters:

  1. The number of invoices you send
  2. The number of emails sent via the platform
  3. The number of letters posted through Payt

When you activate the CO₂ compensation module, these figures are automatically pre-filled using your previous month’s usage. You’ll instantly see the amount you can contribute to compensate for that impact.

Partnering with Trees for All

We have carefully selected a partner that aligns with our environmental values: Trees for All. This Dutch non-profit plants trees in various locations across the globe — both at home and abroad — to offset CO₂ emissions. While we know this is not the ultimate solution to the climate crisis, every step counts in reducing our environmental footprint.

How can you take part?

As a Payt customer, contributing to a greener planet is easy. Simply go to your account settings and navigate to ‘Settings > Modules’ to activate the CO₂ compensation module. Once activated, a small amount will be added to your monthly invoice, and we will transfer this directly to Trees for All on your behalf.

We thank you in advance for supporting a more sustainable future.

At Payt, our mission goes beyond financial efficiency — we are committed to making a positive difference. Together with our customers, we’re taking greener steps towards a better world.

Note: The CO₂ compensation module is optional and can be activated or deactivated at any time.
