Health2Work has been working with Payt for several years now. “Our debtor process was inefficient,” Heine reflects.

“We were handling everything manually, and as diligent as my colleagues are, manual processes are more prone to errors than automated ones. Tasks would stagnate and invoices wouldn’t be paid on time — which had a clear impact on our cash flow.”

Equally important to Heine is the customer experience.

“Debtor management is part of the broader customer journey. We work hard upfront to deliver excellent service, but at the back end, we lacked the same level of professionalism. That was a missed opportunity — and not ideal for the customer experience.”

After discovering Payt, it became immediately clear that their platform could address a large part of Health2Work’s debtor-related challenges.

A change in mindset

Naturally, the transition to automated debtor management took some adjustment for the administration team.

“Even though they still retained full control, it initially felt like they were handing something over. I understand that. But my philosophy is simple: if you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got — and what we were doing wasn’t good enough anymore.”

Thanks to Payt, Health2Work was able to reduce its debtor management workload by half an FTE. Once colleagues saw the benefits, they quickly embraced the change.

“They suddenly had time to focus on other administrative tasks. Payt provided a detailed implementation plan, and the integration with our accounting software Exact went off without a hitch. We were able to fully transition to Payt’s system in no time. Their support during implementation was excellent.”
