What is the purpose of Payt Forward?
The purpose of Payt Forward is to bring together practice owners, practice managers, and other professionals in dental care for a day full of inspiration, knowledge sharing, and progress. By focusing on current themes, innovations, and practical experiences, Payt aims to contribute to the development of future-oriented and financially healthy practices.
Payt Forward is all about meeting and exchanging. It’s not about broadcasting, but about listening, learning, and inspiring. Professionals leave with renewed insights, valuable connections, and concrete steps to strengthen their practice.
Inspiring sessions and speakers
During the conference, the following speakers shared their knowledge and valuable insights.
Erik-Jan Muts shared in his lecture how treatable enamel defects can be effectively addressed. He explained the rationale behind his method and the essential steps for a successful outcome. With a minimally invasive approach, he demonstrated how to achieve radiant smiles.
Nora Ennahachi discussed the role of the practice manager in collaboration with the practice owner. She shared concrete strategies to form strong teams and strengthen them sustainably.
Jasper Thoolen showed in his lecture how to directly apply digital workflows in daily practice. He provided practical examples, discussed smart integrations, and explained the impact on both practitioners and patients.
Jan Willem Vaartjes gave a clear overview of the current state of affairs in the healthcare landscape in his lecture. He outlined what we can expect, where the focal points lie, and how we can effectively anticipate these as a sector.
Haakon Kuit and Nurcan Yilmaz presented cases that underscore the power and applicability of the Socket Shield technique. They demonstrated how both aesthetics and function are optimised with this technique and shared practical insights for daily practice.
Celina Klappers reflected on her journey from starting a practice to a successful chain. She shared the lessons she wished she had known beforehand, the pitfalls to avoid, and how to grow and flourish a practice.

Payt Forward Award
A special moment during the conference was the presentation of the very first Payt Forward Award to Haakon Kuit, a dental implantologist at the Clinic for Cosmetic Dentistry Arnhem and PPIA. Haakon was honoured for his inspiring leadership and his selfless commitment to knowledge sharing within dental care. His dedication to the profession and his willingness to share knowledge and experience with colleagues make him a role model for many in the sector.
Networking
In addition to the lectures, there was ample opportunity to network and discover the latest innovations in dental care. At the partner plaza, various providers showcased their products and services, and visitors could attend live demonstrations. The informal nature of the event made it easy to exchange experiences and make new contacts.
The day concluded with a communal dinner and a festive gathering, where participants had the opportunity to discuss the insights and experiences gained in a relaxed atmosphere.
